Going independent? Start with a website you own.
Your website is the one place online nobody else controls. This free guide explains how a good escort website is built, where it should be hosted, the questions to ask any designer and the words you will hear along the way. Use it with us or with anyone else.
Fifteen steps, and the question to ask at each one.
This is how a professional studio builds a site that can grow with your business: every step written down, every account in your name.
- 01
The plan in writing
Before any design: the list of pages, what goes on each one, who supplies which text and photos, and by what date. You sign it. Anything not on that list is a change with a price.
AskWill I get a written list of pages and deliverables before we start?
- 02
Your domain, your address
A domain is never bought, it is rented for one to ten years and lost if it is not renewed. It belongs in a registrar account you control, with privacy protection so your personal details stay out of public records, automatic renewal, a transfer lock and two step login.
AskCan I log into the registrar myself today and see that I am the owner?
- 03
A private business email
Your email lives on your own domain, never your personal address, in a professional mailbox you administer. Three records called SPF, DKIM and DMARC decide whether your replies reach clients or land in spam.
AskWhere does my email live, who can read it, and are SPF, DKIM and DMARC set up?
- 04
Hosting that accepts your work
The server where your site lives. It must allow lawful adult content in its terms, load fast on a hotel connection, keep backups away from the server and renew the padlock certificate by itself. You need your own login and you should know which country your site and its backups are in.
AskDo I have my own hosting login, which country is it in, and when was a backup last restored?
- 05
Design is order, not decoration
On a phone, before scrolling, a client should see your name, your city, one great photo and how to book. Design starts with the phone. Your own photos, never stock images or someone else's.
AskShow me on a real phone what a client sees before scrolling.
- 06
Your words and your photos
Written in your voice and in the languages your clients search in. Every photo is yours or licensed, every person shown is 18 or older with written consent, and hidden location data is removed before anything is uploaded.
AskWho writes each page, who approves it, and is location data removed from my photos?
- 07
How it is built
A drag and drop builder is quick but hard to leave, and some builders ban escort sites. WordPress needs its plugins updated every week or it gets hacked. Hand coded pages load fastest and leave almost nothing to attack. Inside, structured data tells Google and AI search exactly who you are. No advertising trackers, ever.
AskIs it a builder, WordPress or hand coded, and who keeps it updated?
- 08
A history of every change
A serious website keeps a record of itself: every change dated, and any earlier version can be restored exactly. This lives in a private code repository that you can see.
AskWhere is the code history kept, and could another designer take over tomorrow?
- 09
A private preview
A private copy of your site where you see and approve every page before it goes live. Nothing is published without your written yes.
AskWhere do I see each page before it is published?
- 10
Tested on every screen
One website that fits every width, from a 320 pixel phone to a 1920 pixel monitor. Tested on real phones with a slow connection, buttons a thumb can reach, readable text and the international accessibility standard WCAG 2.2 AA.
AskOpen it on your phone with mobile data, not wifi. How long does it take?
- 11
Speed and clean addresses
The main content should appear in under 2.5 seconds on a phone, measured free at pagespeed.web.dev. Page addresses you can read, like /tour or /gallery, on one domain only.
AskHow fast does my site load on a phone, and how many outside scripts does it use?
- 12
Directories and profiles that match
Your stage name, city and links should read exactly the same on your website, your advertising directories, your verification services and your socials. Search engines and AI trust what many sources agree on.
AskWho owns each of my profiles, and which email was used to create it?
- 13
Checked, then launched
A checklist agreed at the start and walked through together before launch: speed, devices, forms, email, 18+ entry page, privacy policy and redirects from any old addresses. Finished means every item is ticked and you hold every key.
AskWhat is on the launch checklist, and do I get every login?
- 14
Care after launch
A website is never finished, it is looked after. Every month: broken links, speed, tour dates and photos. Every quarter: that everything on it is still true and legal where you work. Every year: domain, certificate and passwords.
AskWhat do I receive each month, and what happens to my site if I stop paying?
- 15
The way out
From the first day it is written down what happens if you leave, if your designer closes, or if you stop paying: what you take with you, how fast, and who holds the spare keys.
AskIf we stop working together, what do I take with me and in how many days?
If you hear any of these, stop the conversation.
Each of these puts your ownership, your privacy or your money at risk, or promises something nobody can deliver.
The same questions apply to us. Any designer who is confident in their work will answer them in writing.
- “I will register the domain for you so you do not have to worry.”
- “We do not need a contract, the quote is enough.”
- “You pay monthly and the website stays ours.”
- “Hosting is included, without saying in whose name.”
- “Everything up front, with no milestones.”
- “We guarantee first place on Google.”
- “We will get the reviews for you.”
- “Just copy a privacy policy from the internet.”
- “You do not need a login, we manage it for you.”
- “Bulletproof hosting, nothing can ever take it down.”
Where your website lives matters.
Many hosting companies and website builders ban escort advertising in their terms, and remove sites without warning. Before anything else, check that your host accepts lawful adult content.
| Type | What it is | What to know |
|---|---|---|
| Shared hosting | Many sites share one server. | Low cost and fine for a light, hand coded site, if the host's terms allow adult content. Many large United States hosts do not. |
| Managed WordPress | A host that updates WordPress for you. | Costs more. Check the adult content terms before anything else. |
| Cloud and VPS | Your own virtual server. | Powerful and flexible, but someone has to secure and update it every week. |
| Static and edge | Plain pages served worldwide from many locations. | Very fast and cheap. Check their terms: some ban adult content, and free plans often forbid commercial use. |
| Website builders | Wix, Squarespace and similar. | Your site cannot be moved out, and escort sites are commonly removed under their terms. |
Why the Netherlands
- Sex work is legal and regulated, so reputable hosts accept lawful adult websites
- Hosts follow the Dutch notice and takedown code: complaints are assessed, and content that is not clearly unlawful is not simply removed on request
- Strong freedom of expression and European data protection law
- One of the world's largest internet exchanges, in Amsterdam, for fast loading worldwide
The honest part
No host anywhere can promise that a website can never be taken down. Hosts that advertise themselves as bulletproof often host crime and scams, and get blocked. Your own laws still apply wherever your site is hosted, so please review the laws where you live and work.
What keeps you online is ownership: your domain and hosting in your own name, a backup domain ready to switch on, and a copy of your site you can restore anywhere. More about Netherlands hosting.
We studied the market before we built ours.
Before building this studio we reviewed the escort website designers clients compare, and 30 of the world's best websites. These are the problems we saw most often, and the reason our process looks the way it does.
Hidden or confusing prices
Most escort website designers we reviewed show no prices at all, or several prices that contradict each other.
Everything paid up front
One established studio asks for 100 percent before any work, with no refunds and no receipts.
No privacy policy, no terms
A studio that sells discretion but publishes no privacy policy or terms of its own.
Impossible promises
A promised number one ranking on Google. Nobody can promise that, least of all for a big city escort search.
Keyword stuffing
The word escort repeated nearly a hundred times on one page. Search engines treat that as spam.
Locked to one platform
Client sites built on a website builder that cannot be moved out, so leaving means starting again.
What the best websites have in common
- A headline under ten words and one clear button
- Prices written down, starting at a number
- A numbered process that says what happens next
- Honest answers to the questions people really ask
- Designed for the phone first, with buttons a thumb can reach
- Main content visible in under 2.5 seconds
- Text dark enough to read in sunlight
- A privacy policy, terms and the current year in the footer
Worldwide, phones and computers now each account for about 49 percent of web traffic (StatCounter, August 2026), so every site must work beautifully on both.
The words you will hear, in plain language.
- Domain
- Your address on the internet. Rented by the year, never bought outright.
- DNS
- The address book that tells the internet where your website and email live. Whoever controls it controls everything.
- Hosting
- The server where your website's files live.
- SSL certificate
- The padlock. It makes your address start with https so browsers show no warnings.
- WHOIS privacy
- Keeps your name, address and phone out of the public record of who owns a domain.
- SPF, DKIM, DMARC
- Three records that prove to Gmail and Outlook that email from your domain really is yours. Without them your replies land in spam.
- Backup domain
- A second domain ready to switch on, so a problem with one provider never keeps you offline.
- Repository
- The dated history of every change to your website's code.
- Staging site
- A private copy of your website where changes are checked before they go live.
- CDN
- Copies of your site spread around the world so it loads fast and withstands attacks.
- Structured data
- Invisible labels that tell Google and AI search who you are and what each page is about.
- Hreflang
- The tag that tells search engines this English page and that French page are the same page in two languages.
- LCP
- How many seconds the main content takes to appear. Google wants under 2.5.
- 301 redirect
- A permanent notice that an old address now lives at a new one.
- WCAG 2.2 AA
- The international standard that lets people with low vision, or without a mouse, use a website.
- Search Console
- Google's free tool that shows which searches found your site.
- EXIF and GPS data
- Hidden information inside phone photos, including where they were taken. Always removed before upload.
- 18+ entry page
- An age confirmation before visitors enter, with an adult label so parental filters keep minors out.
- Screening form
- A form that collects the details you need to verify a client before you reply.
- Notice and takedown
- The process a host follows when it receives a complaint: assess it, contact the site owner when it is unclear, and remove only what is unlawful.
- Noindex
- A tag that asks search engines not to list a page, useful for private pages.
- Cover Mode
- One tap turns your website into an ordinary travel journal, so clients can browse anywhere.
- Quick exit
- A button, or Esc pressed twice, that leaves your site instantly for an ordinary website.
- SLA
- A written promise of how long a site will be online and how fast someone answers when it is not.
